Please read through the following instructions carefully to setup your own portal page...

Step 1:  Visit the SAMPLE portal page.  The first thing you need to do is to visit the sample portal page to know what I'm even talking about. :-)  As you will find out, it's a simple, one-page web template that highlights all of the products that I offer.  The idea is to do one of three things with this page:  (1) Encourage the visitor to AT A MINIMUM download one of the free ebooks or request the free report autoresponder in order to follow up with them for a sale in the future.  (2) Encourage the visitor to complete the SECONDARY GOAL which is for them to purchase one or more of the products. (3) Encourage the visitor to complete the PRIMARY GOAL of ordering the entire package for $97.00. Click Here to take a look at the sample portal page.

Step 2:  Download your own copy onto your computer.  I have uploaded a ZIP archive of the webpage and graphics that you need to download to your computer. Click Here  If you are unable to use ZIP for any reason (or don't know how), then visit the portal page link mentioned above and then pull down your FILE tab in your browser window and choose "SAVE AS".  Regardless of which option you choose, save the files into their own folder on your computer.

Step 3:  Customize the eBooks, if you haven't already done so.  You will need copies of each of our three affiliate eBooks customized with YOUR affiliate link. Click Here if you have not already customized the eBooks. 

Step 4:  Upload the eBooks, if you haven't already done so.  Kind of goes without saying, but sometimes I forgot to do those things that go without saying! :-)  Make sure you have uploaded the customized copies of the affiliate eBooks to your website.

Step 5:  Customize the portal page.  There are several things on the portal page that you will need to change to reflect YOUR affiliate information.  You can do this with your favorite HTML editor or WYSIWYG editor.  (If you don't know how to change links and edit text, skip down to SPECIAL NOTE below)  Here is a quick run down of everything you will need to change on this portal page.

• In the left hand margin of the screen, you will see download links for the three affiliate eBooks.  You will need to change these links to reflect the URL of where you have uploaded your customized copies.
• There are three links under the black box in the center portion of the screen.  They read, "100% Free Advertising,"  "Profits Vault" and "Web Marketing from A to Z"  You will need to edit these links to reflect YOUR three affiliate "hop"links.  They end in "nocost," "thevault" and "tactics" respectively.
• The MAIN HEADLINE of the page reads, "Welcome to the eBusiness Training Center!  My name is John Doe and I'll be your guide..."  Unless your name is John Doe, make the change to reflect your own name.
• Third paragraph has a link to the free report, "How to Sell 300% More of YOUR Product in 72 Hours Than You Did All Month."  Change this to reflect YOUR hoplink to "thevault."
• Immediately underneath this paragraph are links to the three affiliate eBooks.  Again, changes these links to reflect YOUR website download location.
• Halfway down the page you will see a brief description of the various products we offer, along with a "Click Here" link.  You will need to edit the links for each of these, to reflect YOUR affiliate link.  The first one is the "nocost" link (or your http://www.freeadvertisingsystem.com/yournickname.html link, if you have one).  The second one is the "thevault" link.  All of the rest are the "tactics" link.
• All the way down a the bottom is THE MAIN thing you need to change, and that is the ORDER LINK.  This should be your "thevault" hoplink.

Step 6:  Upload the portal page.  After making these changes, upload the portal page and the graphics to your website.  Works best in their own directory, but this is not necessary.  Visit the website and make sure everything looks right.  You may also want to do a link check to validate all of your links and make sure they are working properly.

Step 7:  Submit the portal page.  Visit http://www.addme.com and submit your new webpage to the major search engines.  Make sure you use YOU as the contact person and not me, or it will appear that I am trying to SPAM by sending hundreds of requests in!  Each of the affiliates are allowed to submit these pages, but they must include YOU as the contact person with your email address, etc.  This will give you another listing in the search engines.  Several times monthly I am going to give you a new project to post to the search engines.  Each time you do, there are more links floating around to YOUR affiliate links, with more free opportunities for sales.

Step 8:  Promote your portal page.  Begin telling others about the portal page.  Link to it from your main website.  Promote it through message boards.  Include a signature file about it.  And, of course, stay tuned to the Reseller Report for more ideas. 

Step 9:  Setup a few mirror sites.  Of course, it doesn't have to stop there.  Free webspace is available at literally thousands of places online.  For a list of free webspace providers Click Here.  You can upload the exact same webpage at many other places to give you even more submissions to the search engines at http://www.addme.com.  HOWEVER, don't set up too many of them or you might be accused of too many submissions.  In the past, I have seen two keys here that you need to abide by.  1. No more than ONE new mirror site per week.  Preferably, ONE new mirror site every two weeks.  2. Don't use your same name.  Use a spouse's name or something else when submitting your mirror site.  My own personal recommendation is no more than 5 mirror sites total over a period of 5 weeks.  Admittedly, I am no expert on mirror sites (and for the record, this isn't a doorway site with nothing more than some keyword stuffing - these are actual duplicates of the exact webpage you upload to your own website - perfectly moral and legal and ethical and all that)  If you have any insight on mirror sites, give me a buzz via email at jimmy@profitsvault.com
